Guest Service Representative greets and assists patients, visitors, and staff, answers inquiries, provides directions, and coordinates with hospital departments to ensure smooth operations. This role is critical in creating a positive first impression and supporting the overall patient experience. Exceptional customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills are critical to success in this position.
As Guest Services Representative, a typical day might include the following:
- Promoting positive relationship between hospital and individual volunteers
- Coordinating National Volunteer Week
- Communicating with patients with birthday, get well and sympathy cards as appropriate
- Managing of the volunteer workforce, including recruiting and developing formal job descriptions
- Processing applications and updating volunteer computer program
- Printing daily reports, scheduling for Information Desk and stocking supplies

- You respond in timely manner to all office and schedule inquiries
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and have experience in front-line healthcare hospitality. Prior customer service, hospitality, or healthcare experience is advantageous. Proficiency with computers, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office is a plus.
