As a Concierge, you’ll be an important first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming and supportive experience from the moment they arrive. In the Main Lobby and SDS/Endoscopy area, you’ll provide information, assistance, and directions while helping patients and families navigate the facility with confidence and ease. As a Concierge, a typical day might include the following:

• Greeting and directing patients and visitors with a friendly, sincere welcome
• Serving as an ambassador for the Main Lobby and SDS/Endoscopy area by providing information, directions, and assistance
• Assessing and responding to the age-specific needs of patients and visitors
• Escorting patients and visitors to their destination or vehicle and assisting with wheelchairs as needed
• Answering telephone calls and coordinating requests such as transportation, physician assistance, and other services
• Managing the waiting area and promptly addressing questions, concerns, and minor issues
• Escalating significant patient or visitor complaints to the appropriate patient advocate or representative
• Maintaining a calm, attentive approach during emergencies and periods of high patient volume
• Following safety and infection control procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Protecting patient confidentiality and handling personal information appropriately
