The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
As an Application Analyst II, you will support the design, build, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of assigned healthcare applications. You will work closely with operational teams, Informatics, training partners, and other application analysts to ensure system functionality supports business and clinical workflows.
This is a mid-level analyst role for someone who can independently manage assigned application work with moderate supervision, troubleshoot system and build issues, support upgrades and enhancements, and provide ongoing customer support. You will also serve as a resource to Level 1 analysts and help support application standards and best practices.
As an Application Analyst II, a typical day may include:
- Designing, building, configuring, testing, and maintaining assigned application functionality
- Troubleshooting customer, workflow, system, and application build issues and identifying appropriate solutions
- Supporting application upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and workflow optimization initiatives
- Partnering with Operations, Informatics, training teams, and application peers to ensure system build aligns with operational needs
- Managing support tickets from initial research through resolution, including communicating updates and documenting outcomes
- Supporting go-live and post-go-live activities and participating in on-call support as needed
- Following established change control, issue management, and application governance processes
- Documenting build decisions, workflow changes, risks, issues, enhancements, and system modifications
- Developing and maintaining test scripts, project documentation, future-state workflows, and change-readiness materials
- Assisting with business case information and governance documentation for application changes
- Serving as a resource for Level 1 analysts and helping validate newly certified analysts or new application build work

- You have experience working with healthcare clinical or financial applications and understand how technology supports operational workflows
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You communicate effectively with technical teams, operational stakeholders, project leadership, and subject matter experts
- You are adaptable and comfortable working through changing business needs, system requirements, and project priorities
- You enjoy learning new applications, systems, and workflows
- You take ownership of your assignments and proactively identify issues, next steps, and opportunities for improvement
- You are comfortable supporting implementations, upgrades, go-lives, and ongoing production issues
To Be Considered for the Application Analyst II position, you must have:
- An Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred
- Applicable application certification, either currently held or obtained as required for the assigned application
