Lab Supervisor – Point of Care

As the Lab Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the point of care testing activities. You will provide leadership and mentorship to laboratory staff, coordinate workflow, maintain quality and regulatory standards, and partner with physicians, clinical teams, and organizational leadership to support exceptional donor and patient care.

A typical day for a Lab Supervisor may include:

• A Point-of-Care Supervisor manages and coordinates point-of-care testing activities,
• The supervisor oversees staff, ensures testing is performed accurately and safely, and maintains compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards,
• Responsibility include staff training and competency assessment, quality control monitoring, equipment maintenance, inventory management, troubleshooting testing issues, maintaining documentation, and assisting with audits and quality-improvement activities,
• The role also involves collaborating with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure efficient ability to supervise,

To be considered for this Lab Supervisor opportunity, you must:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical technology or clinical laboratory science,
• At least three years of hands-on experience with point-of-care testing,
• Experience with quality control, proficiency testing, competency assessment,
• At least one year in a supervisory or lead role,
