As an Electrician with RWJBarnabas Health, you will maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate safely and meet applicable National, State, and Local Electrical Codes.

As an Electrician, a typical day might include:

• Inspecting, testing, installing, and repairing lighting, power, and signal circuits throughout the facility.
• Installing, replacing, and maintaining electrical circuits and equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues and making necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Supporting the operation and maintenance of emergency generation equipment and associated circuits.
• Responding promptly to facility alarms and urgent maintenance requests.
• Performing preventive maintenance, including inspections, calibrations, adjustments, lubrication, filter replacement, and component repairs.
• Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing stationary equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, sterilization equipment, and Power Plant machinery.
• Monitoring computerized systems and related equipment and making adjustments as needed.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a high school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent. You must also possess a current New Jersey Electrician license and five years of experience in an electrical-related field. A valid driver's license is also required for this position. Please be advised that this is a Full-Time, Days position, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm.
