Role Description
The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for providing staff education on IT Information Technology applications to include Epic electronic health record software This staff education will be delivered virtually and in classroom Credentialed Trainers provide customer support answer customer hotlines assist with development of training materials and escalate issues as needed This position requires a commitment to work full time alongside training and other operational and IT professionals
Qualifications
Education
Preferred Bachelor's degree
Minimum Associate degree
Work Experience
Three or more years of related work experience with one year of Epic Electronic Health Record experience
Complete knowledge of office procedures and MS Office Suite required
Has trained up to 50 Classes in business or healthcare setting

Job Specific Requirements
The Credentialed Trainer is primarily responsible for classroom and virtual training of end users of the Epic and IT applications In addition to the duties discussed in the Role Description the Credentialed Trainer is responsible for the following
Workflow Analysis and Curriculum Design and Development
Ensures learners know the outcomes of their actions in the system as it relates to the workflow
Can explain how the actions of other users affect the role they re training and vice versa
Training Execution and End User Support
Delivers engaging virtual classroom and web based training sessions using professional adaptive approaches tailored to varied audiences
Answers learner questions with accuracy using terminology that users will understand
Maintains administrative pre course and post course processes in adherence with departmental guidelines
Coordinate logistics associated with training delivery preparation activities such as set up maintenance of training rooms equipment preparation post training clean up etc
Provides support for users through at the elbow support rounding whops and other methods used by the department
