Job Overview:
Material Handler are responsible for managing supply chain activities in the assigned area under the direction of the supply chain management,
Performs procurement activities for assigned areas in a cost-effective manner using current inventory management processes and procedures,
Communicates product concerns to supply chain management and seeks input or approval from the Clinical Resource Directors for all newly requested items prior to placing an order,
Material Handler should be in business appropriate attire prior to the start of the scheduled shift
Consistently anticipates customer needs and expectations; responds to supply inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills required
Preferred
Supply Chain experience
Scheduling Requirements
Shift working, 6:00am-2:30pm each day
Rotating Holidays and Weekends
Key responsibilities first and move down by importance
Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, initiatives, and training,
Conducts supply chain activities for assigned areas,
Responsible for the research, mitigation, and resolution of customer concerns and escalates when needed,
Performs delegated tasks and special projects as assigned,
Acts as a subject-matter expert in assigned areas,
Attends daily meetings and huddles,
Has a working knowledge of all equipment used in the supply chain department,
Responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunction, and facility damage.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
