Job Overview:
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining staffing schedules for three inpatient nursing units per unit specified ratios. Required to make outreach calls to employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met. Maintain time and attendance sheets as assigned. Performs additional support tasks for the nursing departments as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience working as a scheduler or experience with staffing responsibilities strongly preferred
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- N/A
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm
Essential Functions:
- Assists in projecting weekly staffing needs as necessary under direction of the Clinical Directors and/or Administrative Director of Patient Care Services
- Completes assigned responsibilities for daily staffing/census postings for KNE and STC
- Develops and maintains staffing schedules for the three inpatient nursing units per unit specified ratios
- Maintains all nursing unit schedules and makes changes and deletions as necessary
- Provides copies to the Clinical Directors as required
- Maintains confidentiality of employee related information
- Makes daily staffing calls for all shifts as needed or requested
- Follows proper call in procedures as identified by the Administrative Director of Patient Care Services
- Oversee accurate records of all Patient Care personnel attendance
- Provides updated/ accurate copies of daily boards for Clinical Directors
- Responsible for all staffing related computer reports and provides reports as directed
