Job Overview:
The Practice Coordinator will assist in the delivery of Faculty Practice services and support to Faculty Practice customers, i.e. Physicians, Office Managers, etc. The Coordinator will assist in the daily operations of the various practices in which the Manager is involved in. The Coordinator will maintain responsibility for all administrative support for meetings, initiatives and projects. The Coordinator will support various aspects to include assisting the front desk staff with all aspects of daily functions, processing end of day, generate front desk schedules, attend meetings, and work on work queues and staff messages. The Coordinator will interact with all levels of management and employees as well as outside vendors. The Coordinator responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in Spanish
Preferred:
- Clerical experience
- Medical Terminology
- Epic experience

Essential Functions:
- Assist with planning and execution of special projects as needed, provides direct administrative support to Administrative Director or designee
- Assists Administrative Director or designee with processing vendor payments, as per contract
- Assists with and management of the collection of documents for physician credentialing processes
- Completes any other operational department duties as required (i.e. mail distribution, materials management, etc.)
- Develops, extracts and distributes data reports/queries as necessary.
- Ensures accurate & compliant data entry, including transfers, salary increases, terminations, new hires, etc. Reviews forms for appropriate information, signatures, etc.
- Responds to routine inquiries from customers (physicians and staff) regarding payroll, billing processes, etc.
- Responsible for overall record keeping efforts including scanning, filing and archiving
- Supports & assists in maintenance of various FP communications efforts including mailings
- Maintains and processes bi-weekly FP staff time records for submission to Payroll, as per contract
