Job Overview:

The general maintenance professional ensures the buildings environment of care is functional through routine compliance inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital or industrial maintenance/construction

 Certifications/Licenses:

• Valid New Jersey Driver License preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-Time, Day Shift
• Tuesday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm 
• Saturday, 8am-4pm

Essential Functions:

• Perform scheduled compliance inspections and repairs as needed
• Respond to patient related concerns and other tasks as assigned
• Ensure all building systems meet safety regulations and inspect for hazards, ex: fire boundary inspections and firefighting equipment preventative maintenance
• Utilize work request systems, maintain records, and oversee outside contractors
